Condition: One vase is perfect, one has a small chip at the neck measuring circa 4 cm and professionally restored (see image nr. 4). Lamped with a giltwood base and brass top.

A very impressive and decorative mid 18th century Chinese export punch bowl. Decorated in Famille Rose palette with Rococo motifs, initials and green parrots. This piece would have been a special commission and bears the owner's initial " I S ".

In the process of being lamped and mounted on a hand carved and hand gilt wooden base, fitted with antiqued brass plate with UK fittings, brown silk flex and black UK plug. A matched pair of very large, rare Chinese blue and white porcelain vases dating from the last quarter of the 18th century. Elaborately decorated in Oriental landscapes showing pagodas, gardens and bridges. Both vases have sustained heavy damage on one side which has been restored. Each vase has a very good undamaged side. Perfect for decorating as these vases are in ‘country house condition’.

Two Huge 18th Century Chinese Blue and White Vases

We were happy to come across this vase as there are very few surviving examples like this due to the medium’s delicate nature. It is a Japanese Imari vase that, instead of being overglaze painted with the popular imari 5 colours palette, has been covered with beautiful layers of lacquer depicting peonies. Sadly it is not in very good conditions, pieces missing and circa 25% of the total area has been restored very badly. We offer it as a decoration/collector piece for those able to understand its rarity and charm.

Mid 17th Century Japanese Arita Lidded Vase

A well painted medium sized Japanese Imari vase depicting phoenixes and gru amongst flowers and blossoming branches on a cloud shaped underglaze blue decorated background. The lid with a shi-shi lion on a rockwork. Condition: Two pieces restuck on the rim about 5 cm (clearly visible in the picture) and restoration to the finial. Very vivid and well preserved colors.
