Decorated with a pastoral landscape with naked greek goddesses resting within a Daniel Marot (1661-1752) inspired baroque cartouche panel. Retaining their original bricks in the back which makes them rather heavy.

A pair of portraits by Swiss artist Johan Huber, dated 1711 oil on convex copper; held in the original foliate carved giltwood frames. Size in frames 21.5 inches high (55 cm). Provenance: Steiger family, Tschugg Manor, Bern, Switzerland until 1875.
