Large mushroom shaped kangxi mark at the bottom. A well painted medium sized Japanese Imari vase depicting phoenixes and gru amongst flowers and blossoming branches on a cloud shaped underglaze blue decorated background. The lid with a shi-shi lion on a rockwork. Condition: Two pieces restuck on the rim about 5 cm (clearly visible in the picture) and restoration to the finial. Very vivid and well preserved colors.

An unusually small proportioned early georgian cuban mahogany stool with drop in seat and cabriole leg with high pad feet, dating from around 1720. Very good condition and of a lovely rich colour and surface. Upholstered with an 18th Century silk damask.
