A really fine pair of early 18th century Japanese richly decorated imari baluster vases. The very unusual decoration of cooing and Billing birds is most unusual. Lamped on hand-carved and water gilt wooden bases. Both vases have been fitted with antiqued brass plates with light fittings. Typical imari colours: Tomato red, blue, black, orange and gilt highlights. One of the vases is perfect the other has a hairline crack.The custom-made lampshades (Claremont fabric) may sold separately at an additional price.

A Large Dutch Delft vase of exceptional quality, dating around 1680. The body is finely painted in typical Chinoiserie style with figures in an elaborate landscape. A charming pair of early 18th century Dutch Delft blue and white vases, Lamped. The bulbous long neck vases finely painted in underglaze blue. Depicting Chinese courtiers in a rocky landscape. Holland, circa 1720. Several comparable example at the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, Holland. Lamped and mounted on a hand carved and hand gilt wooden base, fitted with antiqued brass plate with UK fittings, brown silk flex and black UK plug. Can be converted for EU or US use. Very decorative pair of early 18th century brown painted wood (possibly pine) hall chairs. The usual model for this chair is in mahogany. We have not seen a pair in painted pine before. The paint is in original condition and therefore has some scuffs and minor losses. Bearing a family crest on the upper front back.

A pair of large Chinese Export reverse glass portrait pictures, one panel depicting a woman of rank, the other her husband, probably a dignitary in their original frames. Their scale is unusually large and are exceptionally fine. The pictures retain their original moulded frames together with their pierced bronze hanging plates. However they are in ‘country house’ condition. The delicate technique of painting behind hand moulded glass panels renders them vulnerable to the hand of time. There are many areas where the paint has lifted from the glass.
