A pair of mid 18th century North Italian (Piedmont?) rococo polychrome girandoles, circa 1740. Each carved with high relief scrolls forming a pierced canopy at the top. The whole is surmounted by a polychrome foliate scroll and further enriched with entwining branches, leaves flowers and buds. Provenance: with Mallett, London. Illustrated in Mallett " Exceptional furniture and works of art ", 2010, pp. 142-143. Illustrated in Mallett, 2012 catalogue, where they feature in the famous yellow room of Ely House, pp 152-153.

A very large Japanese Imari vase of exceptional decorative quality dating from, circa 1700-1720. Each of the three main panels on the body of the vase depicts different varieties of flowers such as peonies, carnations and chrysanthemums. The lid is a European copy of the original made to replace the, presumably, broken, original. We think it was made in the early 19th century and we assume that the vase must have had a prestigious provenance considering the cost of making a lid to match in such quality. The vase stands on an associated 20th century hand-carved and gilt wooden base.

A medium sized Chinese Transitional Wucai porcelain Vase dating, circa 1640 and transformed into a lamp with a hand-carved giltwood base. The vase with an old restoration on the back where two pieces have been re attached to the body through the use of rivets/staples (typical 19th century way of restoring).

This is a really fabulous large Japanese early 18th century Imari vase, richly decorated in fields of black and gold showing opened panels with landscapes and flowering decorations. It is in excellent condition and a very unusual and elegant example of decorated export Imari.

A superb and rare pair of very finely painted blue and white Dutch Delft stove tiles dating around 1730. Decorated with a pastoral landscape with naked greek goddesses resting within a Daniel Marot (1661-1752) inspired baroque cartouche panel. Retaining their original bricks in the back which makes them rather heavy.
