A large and finely painted early 18th century Dutch Delft Charger

The decoration imitates the 17th century Chinese Kraak porcelain style.

Good size and deep vibrant colour

Dating circa 1730

A few similar examples, including a whole stack of identical chargers collapsed in the kiln, are on show at the Victoria and Albert Museum in South Kensington, London

Condition: very good, one small consolidated hairline crack and chip at 11; Fritting throughout the border
